The Eigg Studio
Built using the traditional strawbale building technique, on a hill overlooking the waters of the Little Minch and the distant mainland, Eigg Studio is a beautiful creative space run by Damian Helliwell.
Picarus Films
Ben Cormack of Picarus Films, an island-based film company, will join us for the week to create a series of ‘shorts’ about the project, along with a ‘making of’ documentary. Ben has a lovely way of bringing people out of themselves, and one of the only aerial camera facilities (‘hexocopter’) in Scotland!
The Glebe Barn
The musicians are being hosted at the Glebe Barn, a converted stable building which was part of the old Manse. Sleeping up to 24 people, it can booked in season for groups or individuals and has additional rehearsal or group work space.
